Nu-Metal band "Silly Goose" is blowing up in the Atlanta scene

With much anticipation from the local Atlanta alternative scene, Silly Goose’s first studio album “The Streets Heard It First” was released June 13th, 2022. After 3 long years plus a pandemic Silly Goose still managed to create and release their amazingly diversified 10 track studio album. Throughout the album, the range of musical talent that the lead singer, Jackson Foster, holds is introduced. Songs like “La Machina”, illustrate aspects of rap metal; whereas “Down” gives more aspects of nu-metal. Jackson shows his talents of powerful screams and smooth raps in every part of this album.

On June 17th, 2022 Silly Goose held an album release show with special guests Gokey and Stay Here. From Jaskson’s stage presence and crowd engagement it showed how proud he was of what he and the band created. Not only did Jackson engage with the crowd during the show he also allowed crowd participation which shows the value and confidence he holds in his fans. The drummer Alan and bassist Benny helped to feed Jackson’s energy as well as the crowds. The band played the majority of their new album, and that allowed not only the band to see how their fans react, but it allowed the fans to give all their energy to show appreciation for the amazing album.

From mosh pits in the living room ,to crowd surfing, and all the way to jumping from the railings Silly Goose knows how to do a show! If you enjoy the lyrics and flow of Limp Bizkit, but the riffs of Korn you will definitely enjoy this band.
